About
Kelly O’Gorman DeVore is a designer and strategist with broad experience across design, research, interiors, branding, and architecture. She’s drawn to work that creates clarity—simplifying, aligning, and making things feel right, even when you can’t explain why. DeVore thrives on understanding what helps people feel and do their best work.
As an administrator and Design Director, DeVore is skilled at spotting design and organizational efficiencies, leading difficult conversations, and building systems where none may exist. She has a knack for seeing both the big picture and the smallest details—and for helping people feel at home within them. Her consulting work focuses on residential interiors and small businesses, with a few short-term rental projects each year.
DeVore’s artistic practice draws on the journals of her maternal grandmother, who meticulously documented the mundaneness of motherhood in Missouri during the 1960s and ’70s. Fascinated by language, story, and memory, DeVore translates her grandmother’s reflections through embroidery, collage, graphite, and quilting methods—coding these histories as she connects them to her own experiences of loss and motherhood.
When she’s not designing or teaching, she’s likely pulling weeds, making soup, throwing a ceramic bowl, or playing the ukulele around a fire—trying, always, to make something with her hands.
